Epson junk large format printers

Bought 2 gs 6000 Epson printers. Had nothing but trouble with them. Head strikes, color shift Epson large format printers break down. Their repair company is a joke. My time down because of their lack of knowledge and mistakes cost me thousands of dollars. When you have 60% head strikes on the printed material on almost every project it is impossible to generate any profit. It took Epson six months to bring and install a drop bar. This was to alleviate head strikes which dropped it down to 30%. Color Shift They could NEVER explain to us why this happens and we had ALOT of reprints and lost jobs and customers. No one at Epson or their repair company were able to address the problem. Printer Repair This has been a combination of errors which meant we were unable to print. In conclusion, I would never recommend Epson or their repair people! Norman Ehrentraut .

Epson's GS6000 printers and services are DOA.

We made the mistake of buying 2 of them. From day one we had nothing but head strikes. The other problem but not the only was color shift, panel # one color didn't match panel two. No body from Epson has any idea why it does this. Head strikes consume 50% of our material, not to mention their high price inks at @2oo.oo / liter. their method of repairing a printer is the trial and error method, of coarse you pay for it too. While their repair group is trialing and erroring you are shut down making no money. I could add more thru *** circus of none productive printer repair attemps that fixed nothing. I wouldn't recommend an Epson wide format printer to my worst enemy. The Epson printers and service have the plague, stay away from them. We have yet to hear from Epson why all the head strikes or color shift. Our second printer is still not repaired.
