Epson WorkForce WF-3640 All-in-One Printer

Absolute junk - the most finicky thing I ever had. Just look at it the wrong way and it acts up. Don't buy it! I bought it as a spare to my HP Laser jet which is a workhorse. I wanted something that offered color and could scan, copy, etc.... So, I knew that this printer would be an "occasional use" printer. I have had nothing but trouble, there is always something wrong, something jammed, something to look at. Not to mention the small ink vials. So, I needed it....I go to the store and buy $66.00 worth of ink, because I really needed to use it and BINGO - poor quality printing - even after cleaning the heads and printing test pages. Really, take a tip from me, stay away from Epson printers, there is no good news to report about them.

Epson - Warning: Tech Helper Gave Bad Advice and wanted to charge $299 for services I did not need

I bought a new EPSON wifi printer/scanner. I had trouble getting the scanner set up so I used the EPSON CHAT option. The Chat person did nothing but take my phone number to have a technician call me. After allowing the tech to access my computer directly, the "senior tech" (James) told me the problem was that my "IP address was compromised and the Fire Wall was off", and he needed to reinstall my drivers for me--for $299!! I told him I needed a second opinion. Guess what? After hanging up I uploaded the CD and re installed drivers. I quickly got the scanner working on my own. Then I checked with Best Buy and they told that Mac computers DONT USE A FIREWALL option. The tech knew I was on a MAC! EPSON outsources their support to questionable consultants! I felt like I was talking to a con man.

Pushing these printers, which are about three years old made in 2014 on their customers. They are poorly made and break down from all the research that I have done very quickly operate our very rude and very deceptive

Epson - 730 Printer Review from Yonkers, New York

Epson Artisan 730 was purchase for two specific purposes to scan in photos and to print on CDs. I have four other printers for doing other tasks. The printer gave me the now infamous "inkpad end of life" error. Knowing how to work on all my own Electronics since Pro Video/Audio Production is my profession along with IT and computer building, I opted to fix the ink overflow issues myself. After I finish I contacted Epson to get the reset key and they refused to give me one telling me that the priter must go to an authorized service center. This is total BS! Just a way to force consumers to have to go purchase new equipment when there's nothing wrong with this printer as a matter of fact when I went in to replace the ink pads they weren't even full. And the worst thing is when the printer gave this error message I can no longer even use the scanner which I was in need of desperately to scan photos for a job with a deadline. And because this is the slowest time of the year for my work I didn't have the money to go buy another scanner or CD printer. I will never purchase another Epson product as long as I live. I do not understand how the federal government consumer affairs Department could allow Epson to sell printers that are disposable before they're actually worn out reach the end of their life. I have Canon photo printers that are 15 years old. So this is just ripping of consumers. - one of the worst parts of this is the scanner wouldn't function either and that's going straight into a computer program and has absolutely nothing to do with using ink.

Over many tens of years I have used Epson printers. Some were reasonable most were ***. Over the weekend I tried to print one label as many times I tried to put NEW cartridges into the THING it kept on saying cant see cartridges. I put several NEW ones into it and it still would not print. I have spoken to Epson several times in the past about inks and the have always given me the same answer. YOU ARE NOT COVERED IF YOU USE SPURIOUS INKS. What a load of Tosh .Millions of customers use none gen inks simply because manufactures inks are too expensive. Today was the last straw after talking to them, its in bits and in the bin. Smile Epson you just might be the next company to go Belly up with your arrogant attitude. You WONT be able to blame BREXIT for that one either !!!!!

I love Epson Printers, but I hate the fact that they change ink cartridge types as often as i change underwear! example. i have the Epson xp410. loved it. ran good, picture quality very good. But, it broke somehow. So i bought the Epson xp430. Looks exactly the same, right? But, it uses completely different ink cartridges than my previous printer. And in between my two, i talked my sister into buying the Epson xp420. Different Ink Cartridges. Ridiculous. Improve the printers if you want (if you actually 'do'), but don't keep changing the ink cartridges. I buy alot of them, ahead of time, and when I change printers, I want to be able to continue using the same ink, because they are not very cheap. In Fact, the price of ink for ALL PRINTERS is a rip off. Please take notice of this. SAME CARTRIDGES.

Epson - Ink Delivery

Ordered ink from Epson website with the promise of 3-4 business day delivery. 8 business days later the ink arrived. Every time I called Epson they claimed it should arrive tomorrow. They even stated this on a Friday, my reply was that Purolator does not deliver on Saturdays. Epson eventually blamed Purolator. After speaking with Purolator they confirmed Epson was at fault due to USA shipping into Canada which takes longer than 3-4 business days (which I believe). I asked Epson to make things right by refunding a portion of what I paid as they broke the agreed contract between buyer and seller. Answer from them was they did nothing wrong and will not! Shame on Epson... buyer beware. Next time I will go to Staples, Costco, Best Buy or other to buy my ink. Next all in one printer will not be an Epson with service and deception like this!

Epson Printer - Not 1 bad epson but 4

I purchased 3 Epson Workforce 4530 All-in-one printers and 1 2540 All-in-one. Two printers lasted 14 months, 1 lasted 9 months and the last never printed correctly from the beginning black or color (2540 Model). All seem to have the exact issue, the color cartridges begin to clog and remain clogged despite tireless cleaning efforts. All the 4530 Models will print in black ink but color has been useless. I am currently looking for additional printers to replace these and was interested in the new eco-printers. That is until I read the eco-printer reviews! Seems this is an ongoing issue the manufacture is obviously aware of. Customer service offered no resolution.

Have used my printer about 100 times and have owened my WF2540 for 19 months. Today I try to print all it will do is eject one page of paper then display "Out of Paper" I have tried to update the drivers the firm ware and reset the printers defaults. In every mode copy or print it does the same thing. All tech support tells me is it is out of warranty nothing we can do. But you can sent it to are service center for repair. At twice the cost of purchase! What a waste

Epson doesn't have a Customer Service department???

The Epson website didn't accept my address correctly so they cancelled my order without telling me. I waited almost a week before I called to see what the hold up was. Then, once I got that sorted out, they sent me a defective printer. I spent hours on the phone with them. Apparently they don't have a customer service department. They scheduled delivery of a new printer on Remembrance day. I got shifted to five different agents, one of whom gave me a customer service phone number that was not in service. Needless to say I am fed up.

Finding big issues in repairing a EPSON premium home projection system in Kolkata India ..model EH DM 30 HD.4 months the guys have kept my projector in the name of repair and they could find a clue as what to do ..

now They say Epson dont have spares to repair the 3 yr old projector.

I wish to sue the company if they cant help me out.
