Epson in San Antonio, Texas - Software updated-now no pdf files available

Epson updated my printer software and now I cannot save scans to pdf format. I contacted Epson via online chat numerous times and they say they do not support pdf software and that I should contact the maker of the software. It was installed on my printer when I bought it. I purchased this specifically because it saves scan to pdf at Staples. Epson changed my software numerous times changing how it scans and prints several times. I even tried to delete and reload software to no avail. I will not buy another Epson nor will I recommend it to friends or business partners anymore.

Pushing these printers, which are about three years old made in 2014 on their customers. They are poorly made and break down from all the research that I have done very quickly operate our very rude and very deceptive

Epson - 730 Printer Review from Yonkers, New York

Epson Artisan 730 was purchase for two specific purposes to scan in photos and to print on CDs. I have four other printers for doing other tasks. The printer gave me the now infamous "inkpad end of life" error. Knowing how to work on all my own Electronics since Pro Video/Audio Production is my profession along with IT and computer building, I opted to fix the ink overflow issues myself. After I finish I contacted Epson to get the reset key and they refused to give me one telling me that the priter must go to an authorized service center. This is total BS! Just a way to force consumers to have to go purchase new equipment when there's nothing wrong with this printer as a matter of fact when I went in to replace the ink pads they weren't even full. And the worst thing is when the printer gave this error message I can no longer even use the scanner which I was in need of desperately to scan photos for a job with a deadline. And because this is the slowest time of the year for my work I didn't have the money to go buy another scanner or CD printer. I will never purchase another Epson product as long as I live. I do not understand how the federal government consumer affairs Department could allow Epson to sell printers that are disposable before they're actually worn out reach the end of their life. I have Canon photo printers that are 15 years old. So this is just ripping of consumers. - one of the worst parts of this is the scanner wouldn't function either and that's going straight into a computer program and has absolutely nothing to do with using ink.

Over many tens of years I have used Epson printers. Some were reasonable most were ***. Over the weekend I tried to print one label as many times I tried to put NEW cartridges into the THING it kept on saying cant see cartridges. I put several NEW ones into it and it still would not print. I have spoken to Epson several times in the past about inks and the have always given me the same answer. YOU ARE NOT COVERED IF YOU USE SPURIOUS INKS. What a load of Tosh .Millions of customers use none gen inks simply because manufactures inks are too expensive. Today was the last straw after talking to them, its in bits and in the bin. Smile Epson you just might be the next company to go Belly up with your arrogant attitude. You WONT be able to blame BREXIT for that one either !!!!!

Do not buy the hunk of junk. I tell you that I will never buy one of these piles of *** from Epson again. The printer overall just sucks. It uses to much ink and I makes you replace all of the ink when one is out. It is just away for Epson to scam the people and try and rob them. I will never never own a Epson product again and I highly advise people not to by any product from them. There are also issues in how it scans, i drops links to the computer and likes to jamb a lot. How they are getting away with scamming the consumers I will never know. Disgusting product.

I love Epson Printers, but I hate the fact that they change ink cartridge types as often as i change underwear! example. i have the Epson xp410. loved it. ran good, picture quality very good. But, it broke somehow. So i bought the Epson xp430. Looks exactly the same, right? But, it uses completely different ink cartridges than my previous printer. And in between my two, i talked my sister into buying the Epson xp420. Different Ink Cartridges. Ridiculous. Improve the printers if you want (if you actually 'do'), but don't keep changing the ink cartridges. I buy alot of them, ahead of time, and when I change printers, I want to be able to continue using the same ink, because they are not very cheap. In Fact, the price of ink for ALL PRINTERS is a rip off. Please take notice of this. SAME CARTRIDGES.

Epson in Miami, Florida - XP-620 held for ransom

Details
went to print a plain old black and white document today and the printer would not print the document unless I replaced the "photo black" cartridge. So, I called tech support and they said the printer will not function unless all four cartridges are good, period. Can't print black and white, can't print greyscale... Epsom has my printer disabled until I hop in the car, go to the store, pay a huge price for 1 ounce of ink in a plastic box, return home, genuflect and install same. It is "sales by coercion". Printer headed for the dumpster even though it is three months old.

Epson in Vancouver, British Columbia - Ink Delivery

Ordered ink from Epson website with the promise of 3-4 business day delivery. 8 business days later the ink arrived. Every time I called Epson they claimed it should arrive tomorrow. They even stated this on a Friday, my reply was that Purolator does not deliver on Saturdays. Epson eventually blamed Purolator. After speaking with Purolator they confirmed Epson was at fault due to USA shipping into Canada which takes longer than 3-4 business days (which I believe). I asked Epson to make things right by refunding a portion of what I paid as they broke the agreed contract between buyer and seller. Answer from them was they did nothing wrong and will not! Shame on Epson... buyer beware. Next time I will go to Staples, Costco, Best Buy or other to buy my ink. Next all in one printer will not be an Epson with service and deception like this!

Printer worked fine until it didn't. I had an error message 0x9d where it told me to restart my printer. After doing so, it prompted me to replace each ink cartridge until all were replaced and then the error message kept popping up. I called epson- they replaced ONE CARTRIDGE to figure out the problem which I already knew. Epson said the printer was broken (DUH) and I could bring it to a service center or purchase a new one through the loyalty program. I said all I want is my money back for my ink. They wouldn't refund me. I don't want a new printer- I just want my money back! I AM NEVER BUYING EPSON AGAIN. Not only was technical support useless, they also spoke to me like I was a child and have never handled a printer before.
