Having issues

I did an update on printer that it was requiring after that it said No ink but ALL cartridges are full. I tried to call 2x & was disconnected I sent an email still havent heard anything from customer service

My printer was not working and the Geek Sqad could not fix my problem

I was very frustrated that my printer did not work, and I could not reach the company. Once I found the appropriate website and I informed them of my problem. I was told I would be contacted by a service provider within 24 hours. The next day I was called and the service person was very patient with me

User's recommendation: Read the various responses that come up when Google such is do. Know that you may have to wait up to 24 hours.

Unscrupulous Practice/Policies

Upgraded firmware based on Epsons recommendations. When finished my print function was completely disable as the upgrade now forces end user to only use OEM ink cartridges and not 3rd parties. No notice was given to end user/customers so in order to continue you must buy Epson only cartridges. Which means I have unrecoverable out of pocket expenses with unused ink cartridges and Im impacted from a health perspective as I cant print my medical forms I need for chemo treatments. This sneaky, greedy action by Epson tells you revenue/profits are more important than loyal customers. It is also akin to Ransom Ware as you now need to pay to unlock previous printer functions that worked but not any longer.

User's recommendation: Never upgrade firmware and don’t buy Epson.

Printer 4730 will not print after a move

I contacted your company to get my 4730 Epson printer to print. Recently I moved 300 miles south and got new wifi svcs - but even after entering the wifi info, still no prints. When speaking to the Epson rep, I ended up with no resolution. Now I'm in my new home 2 mos later with a printer not providing me work for my business. VicToria

Epson printer 3640 Can not connect to my computer

NOT EASY TO BE CONNECTED ... SET UP MANUAL IS NOT EASY TO FOLLOW UP. SOMETIME IS SUDDENLY RUNNING BY IT- SELF AT MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT NOISY.

Solved - worst experience

Product was just 1 month old, the service centre guy even after complain is registered ask to use screwdriver and open up the gears and etc etc and refused to visit as he have only 1 call for this route What if i open the screws &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; all!! Does my warranty will be carried forward ?? Service with 48 hrs is cool but refusing and telling customer to open up the printer is not business ethics and not cool Regards

NO ONE WILL REPAIR AN EPSON PRINTER, INCLUDING EPSON!!!

I have had my Epson Workforce Printer for 3 years.past the Warrany period. I have to admit it is GREAT when working. It just stopped all of a sudden and told me to contact Epson. Epson dont even answer their phones, nor do they reply to emails!!!! I called several printer repair shops and all sale THEY WONT TOUCH AN EPSON!. Im a small business owner.Am I supposed to wait. I asked a repair shop what to buy so this does NOT happen again? They said hands down BUY AN HP! Thats exactly what Im going to do if I dont hear from Epson in a day or two!!!!!

Firmware update

Yep. Read this site too late. My 4734 has now become a doorstop. When I buy an automobile I can use any brand of tires I choose. I should have the same rights with a printer to use any brand of printer ink I choose. This procedure should be made illegal in this country since it invalidates my purchase and makes it unusable. I have read that there are potential lawsuits involved in this. Does anyone know how to join them? Conversely, has anyone found out how to downgrade the firmware to the previous version?

Printer won't work,says its off line

printer says its off line, customer service in Japan said it was my mac pc .They could help me ifI paided $199.00 for 3 years.

I called Epson because after printer did update it did not recognize any ink cartridge original or generic. I spend an hour and a half with them, and all the wanted to know was about the inks. After so long of speaking emails and pics their answer was send us more pics. Epson time is money and people don't have time to keep repeating themselves. It's less of a headache to simply by another printer then to deal with your tech support they sound like broken records.
