I purchased a Epson WF-4730 which turned on for two seconds with a blank screen then shut off. I called the (800) 463-7766 to get a rep telling me it was my network.

I told him I was following the instructions that came with the printer it specifically says take printer out of box plug it in and select your language on the screen. It never got that far I said. He chuckled and said sir you have a network issue let me log in to your computer, which he did. After a few minutes he said he would need to send a technician out to my house but it would cost me.

I told him that I just purchased this printer plus $125 in extra ink and now you want to charge me for a broken out of the box printer? Needless to say I returned the printer to staples EPSON needs to step up its game in the customer service department, they suck.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $250.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
