Opened up a factory sealed Cyan ink cartridge. My printer didn't recognize it.

I opened up an identical factory sealed cartridge which worked fine. I bought the items for my home office more than a month prior, so it was outside the Amazon return window. The defective cartridge is well within the 2020 expiration date. I called Epson.

I was told to return it to Amazon, and I explained why I could not. The rep said "We will send a tech to your office for a fee". Of course this is a $17 item and the fee far exceeds that, and it's the wrong "solution". Then I posted on Facebook and contacted them through FB messenger.

On Nov 21 they replied they would have an answer soon. I contacted them 4 more times and finally the same form mail response Dec 3. It's Dec 11.

No response. All I want is a replacement for their defective item.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $17.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Epson Pros: Printer.

Epson Cons: Defective ink cartridge.
