Epson - Horrible Network Connection
I recently purchased an Epson 2830 Series to work from home during the Coronavirus outbreak. This is by far the worst purchase I have ever made on a printer.
The network seems to forget its on the network once used. I have attempted to print, scan, and copy documents on the printer and it fails almost every time. It has taken up to 3 hours to troubleshoot how to ensure your network connection is connected and then conveniently drops your connection once established. The printer asks for a USB connection to process quicker but once connected it again advises no connection is established.
This is 2020 and the ease of use by a printer should be simple and easy to use. I attempted downloaded the app to my phone as well and again, no connection. After turning off my printer 3 times it was finally able to connect. Get with it Epson, not all of us are tech savvy.
Almost all products are plug and play. Never again will I purchase a printer by Epson because it's a guaranteed piece of crap.
User's recommendation: Purchase a different type of printer.
Monetary Loss: $90.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
Epson Pros: Cheap.
Epson Cons: Cannot reach support printer is junk, Ink guzzler.
