New ReviewerMy Epson Workforce 7710 suddenly stopped working. I called a number of shops around me and all stores said "they did not fix Epson printers".
The printer error message said to contact Epson. I got several automatically generated emails that kept telling me to turn the printer "on and off" which I had done at least 20 times.
Finally I received a call from an Epson rep who was identified on my phone screen as "M Jw" who said he would have a tech contact me and do an online analysis of my printer through my computer. He went on to say that if they could not effect an online repair, my unit would be replaced! My computer was absent that day so I explained I would have it in two days.
Well, 2 days has come and gone and I did not receive any calls or emails from Epson so I called them at the same number.
All they say is they dont know who "M Jw" is and there is no service request on file.
I asked one of the repair shops "what should I buy to avoid this problem in the future"? "HP - Hands down" she said.
I guess if M Jw cant be found then I will buy an HP as Epson support has done nothing and cant even tell me a place that will fix their printer in the Philadelphia area!!!
User's recommendation: BEWARE EPSON WORKFORCE PRINTERS CANT BE FIXED!
