I was having Big problems with my Epson All-in-one Workforce 3620 printer. I didn't have a contract with them, but decided to try and get one or two questions answered anyway. I don't remember how I got the number I called, but I searched for a number for tech support...

I bought an Epson WF3640 all-in-one printer which has proven to be the worst office equipment I ever experienced. Everything from loading the paper trays to deciding when to replace ink cartridges is a pain - not worth the time to research the answer. The Epson website...

Dealing with *** at EPSON in the Philippines NEVER AGAIN!

Bought new WF2750. The supplied software apparently out of date, updates automatically. NEVER FUNCTIONS PROPERLY on either of 2 computers. Won't connect wireless or w/ USB. I have bought Epson/Seiko for years, BUT NEVER AGAIN. Apparently the Japanese no longer do quality control and send out crap. Then make you waste time with tech support if you can understand them. No more. If I wanted to talk to tech support I can't understand, I would call Japan directly. I either talk to tech support in the US or I do not buy the product! I have now spent 2 days trying to get the printer to work, and I could have better spent the time buying a more expensive printer from a competent manufacturer. I also own a WF7510 all in one that worked out of the box. Now they should take their production staff and put them in a box, and bury it.

Epson - Warning: Tech Helper Gave Bad Advice and wanted to charge $299 for services I did not need

I bought a new EPSON wifi printer/scanner. I had trouble getting the scanner set up so I used the EPSON CHAT option. The Chat person did nothing but take my phone number to have a technician call me. After allowing the tech to access my computer directly, the "senior tech" (James) told me the problem was that my "IP address was compromised and the Fire Wall was off", and he needed to reinstall my drivers for me--for $299!! I told him I needed a second opinion. Guess what? After hanging up I uploaded the CD and re installed drivers. I quickly got the scanner working on my own. Then I checked with Best Buy and they told that Mac computers DONT USE A FIREWALL option. The tech knew I was on a MAC! EPSON outsources their support to questionable consultants! I felt like I was talking to a con man.
