Epson - Brick

This is my third Epson printer last two were pretty good this one has been bricked after update. I will never buy another Epson printer again I invested in a color laser printer never buying ink again. Epson as a company should go out of business there are a bunch of *** with no support after you buy the product they break it *** YOU epson.

Epson - Unreadable tiny screen

My new Epson printed has a one inch square message screen that is impossible to read. It totally sucks.

i purchased 5 in two years they all do the same thing they never stay on line they don’t hook up wireless it’s junk the ink is all over the place it doesn't read how much ink is in each one. it says it copies so much it does not handle many pieces of paper it jams all the time it’s the worst printer i have ever owned . it runs out of ink all the time i can’t get in touch with anyone . there the worst company . nothing good about this printer this was the most expensive printer i ever purchased not worth the money.

Check Customer Support BEFORE. you buy an Epson!

A few days ago, I decided to buy an Epson ET-3760 printer, with the "latest technology" in terms of large ink supply. Because this printer is really a computer, it is a complex piece of gear. But the only instructions included were on a folded sheet of paper. The printer's complexity is evidenced by the 238-page manual that I found online. Although I found it there, I couldn't find one in the printer's box! I even naively called up Epson and asked for a printed manual. I offered to pay for a printed copy, but neither the sales tech nor the supervisor were able to help me out. What a travesty of customer non-service. Setting up the scanning function, for example, is not as simple as it appears. Having a manual to check would be a real help, I just couldn't believe that a so-called Japanese product would sink this low in terms of customer service. Highly disappointing. I hope the Customer Service Reps are volunteers, because if they are getting paid, then Epson is wasting their money. Life is about choices, and I choose to have a Plan B when it comes to learning technological information. Epson does not support this choice. Thanks Epson for nothing. I will remember this incident when it comes to either my next printer or another Epson product. The products may be good, but Epson America's customer non-service really sucks.

DO NOT BUY AN EPSON PRINTER

The worst printer, customer service and corporate staff. I have purchase not one but two Epson Printers and have had the same experience. I feel like a fool that I bought another one only to have similar issues and more importantly no satisfaction from the customer support or corporate. I just bought ink to only find this piece of junk cannot be fixed unless I pay for it. This is absurd that a billion dollar company from Japan does not stand by their products. I will do whatever I can to tell anyone and everyone I know to never buy an Epson. They left me no choice since they do not care about the consumer.

Epson - Find something better.

There is a constant update required every time you go to use it. Then, there are error messages. When you go for support they try to get money to resolve the issue they created.

Epson - Print Cartridges No Longer Working

I just read that there is a class-action suit regarding your latest firmware update. Here's the downside to your stupid decision that limited printer cartridges to EPSON alone... You'll pay dearly in settling your lawsuit, plus, nobody is going to buy your printers and cartridges anymore. I have four printers that are going straight in the garbage tomorrow. Time to visit Costco and Sams Club and buy ANYTHING but Epson. Dumb decision. Whose idea was that?

Epson - Xp-830 printer

So far I have identified two major problems with this printer. First, it is impossible, so far as I can tell, to printer labels. 30 minutes on the phone with customer support and no solution. Here is a basic function, this printer can't do it, or if it can, figuring out how takes a monumental effort. Second, it has this great feature that when one color print cartridge is empty, you can't print AT ALL, even just in black. I didn't believe this when customer support told me. If I dare attempt anything more sophisticated than printing labels or printing when one just one cartridge is empty, I'm sure I'll find other problems with this truly horrible printer. Never again, never Epson. Do not buy anything these people make.

Epson - Absolute rubbish

The faceless big business who offer lots and fulfil on very little. If they were a small company treating their client's ion this way they would fold. They have no idea what they are doing. They ask lots of questions, get you to reboot stuff which disconnects you from them, its a win-win for them, chat over, or they link you to a webpage which is next to useless. They take an age to respond and when they do they take an age to answer the simplest of questions. It is always the fault of something else, never the printer. I sorted the fault myself and yet having bought several of these machines for my company I expect better business support.

Epson - Printers not working

I bought an Epson 47??. After just a short time print nozzles failed. Print head cleaning function did nothing. Costco, thank God, took it back. Got the newer model that had just arrived. Neither document feeder nor print paper feeder worked no matter what grade and quality of paper I tried. Spent 2 hours on the phone with Epson only to be told what I know from the beginning: Hardware failure right out of the box! Costco to the rescue. Bought the new Ecotank 37??. Set it up, does not feed paper for scanning or copying purposes no matter what I try. Okay, so I am apparently stupid and insane for trying the same brand 3 times. Never had an issue with any of my HP's. Lesson learned but Epson should get out of the printer business! They obviously have no clue what they are doing!

Hard to believe three different printers conspired to frustrate your printing career. Perhaps it's your computer or the settings, etc.? Go back to HP if you wish, Epson will survive.

Hardly. Epson's own personnel diagnosed the issues as hardware failure, to use their term and I spent quite a bit of time with them on the phone as I don't have the time to run to Costco all the time.

Furthermore, if a printer/scanner pulls in or spits out 4 pages and more of any type paper, 20#, 24#, from different vendors right out of the box, it would be hard to blame settings or the paper either. I used Epson years ago with good results but today's machines are just flimsy and shoddily put together.
