Epson was no help! I havent gone through a set of cartridges and the thing stopped printing properly!

Epson - Can't print in black and white because color Cartridge is expended!

I bought this printer Epson XP-315 hardly used it, then the black Cartridge was expended and i bought a new one, guess what, the colored one is also expended and now my printer is blocked in a mode that i need to buy all the other colored Cartridges just to PRINT IN BLACK AND WHITE! I feel used just spend alot of money on Cartridges for nothing. Complete SCAM, how are they alowed to do this!!! I just wanna cry, I had an important paper to print in black and white, and have a printer at home that DOESN'T PRINT! Feel so frustraded..

Epson - Constantly in need of repair

Epson printers are horrible. My Espon Artison printer is constantly giving error messages. Called the company. They were not going to cover the cost of repair. They offered a 15% discount on the purchase of another Epson. Why in the world would I buy another Epson? They are lemons. The ink costs are astronomical and the printer constantly is telling me I am low on ink! It constantly tells me there are printer jams when there are none. It now has stopped working completely!! It is only 2 years old!! I understand that there has to be a limit to warranties. But they have to come up with better solutions. AVOID EPSON PRODUCTS!!

I am now on my second printer in 25 days. Today I will be bring this back to best buy and buying anything but. I know products have problem however customer service sucks. Fist you get some lower level person, then they send you to a second person. Keep in mind that you have already been in their q for five minutes. They need to get out of the printer biz. I am sure they are going to come back with some *** about how isolated this is, however looking at this site it seems like I am not alone

DON'T BUY EPSON PRINTERS UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THIS

I bought an Epson XP 820 printer at the Apple store in Dallas, Texas a few weeks ago. The printer was dead on arrival: the hard drive had failed. Epson sent me another one. It too arrived with a dead hard drive. The sent me a third - it was the wrong model and the touch screen wouldn't work. The sent me a fourth- again the touch screen didn't work. Needless to say, they don't give refunds. I am waiting on my fifth. They say it will be tested before it will be sent to me - who knows. All I can assume is that there are serious design flaws in this model or there is some warehouse scam in which they keep sending computers broken computers until someone accepts them. WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T BUY EPSON PRINTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Epson doesn't have a Customer Service department???

The Epson website didn't accept my address correctly so they cancelled my order without telling me. I waited almost a week before I called to see what the hold up was. Then, once I got that sorted out, they sent me a defective printer. I spent hours on the phone with them. Apparently they don't have a customer service department. They scheduled delivery of a new printer on Remembrance day. I got shifted to five different agents, one of whom gave me a customer service phone number that was not in service. Needless to say I am fed up.

Finding big issues in repairing a EPSON premium home projection system in Kolkata India ..model EH DM 30 HD.4 months the guys have kept my projector in the name of repair and they could find a clue as what to do ..

now They say Epson dont have spares to repair the 3 yr old projector.

I wish to sue the company if they cant help me out.

Epson - First unit DOA. Replacement DOA. WF-3640 SUCKS!

I bought a new WF-3640 from Amazon. It could not complete the start-up cycle with paper jam messages, yet no paper installed!! Got a replacement from Epson. Can't complete the set up cycle - -grinding noises, error messages and eventually paper jam messages again!! I am sending them both back and going with another brand. I found a handful of other reviews with the EXACT same problem on Amazon. Must be a major quality control issue at the factory. Did I mention that I had to spend 30 mins on the phone with tech support for EACH problem. I had to repeat my name and info to the guy about three times and he still got it wrong!

I'm sorry you've had such bad luck with Epson. My first Epson lasted 8 years and never had an issue.

After trying several others and returning them, I purchased another Epson before Christmas last year, and it works like a dream, and when the time comes again, I'll probably purchase another.

It very well could be a batch issue, but whatever the problem, I hope you've found one by now that works well for you.

Epson - End of ink pad life death threat

I will never again buy an epson product. As my printer is dead to me, so also is epson. They have made an enemy for life. epson 800 give an end of life pad warning before it shut down my printer. I will be shorting their stock in the morning. You want to play. Here I come. I see that epson wants to be my beach, so shall it be. When your stock rolls over, you will know why and you will know who. In having a printer for less that 2 years and have it lock up because of corporate greed and then hold you hostage. I believe you know where you can place your ink pads now. Have a nice day.

Same thing is happening to me this very instant, Ive just finished installing it. The people at Staples say you can return it before 15 days, the problem is !I DON'T HAVE *** TIME! This was a total waste of valuable time!

If Epson paid for the return shipping, I would consider that GOOD and DECENT customer service. To deny a customer return shipping charges because its 37 days instead of 30 is a case of Customer Neglect and lack of care.

Epson - XP 410 will not print from internet or files

Just like a smart phone, this printer will do everything but make a phone call or print in this case. It may not even do all the other things on it's menu, but I will never find out. I want to print a page from the internet or a file and it will not do it. This is what I bought it for --- to be a PRINTER. All it wants to do is be my friend and let me know it is wi fi ready, although not really! What a waste of money. Although it is now in about 5oo pieces and I am feeling somewhat better about the tech *** being sold on the market lately, I will never buy another Epson product --- EVER.

Epson stylus C88+. What a Piece of ***!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased an Epson stylus C88+ about one year ago; I have never been so disappointed with a product in my life! (1). the paper feeder does not pull the paper in straight, so you can never print true. (2). the ink jets are constantly clogging up (unbelievable). (3) It has a hard time managing colors correctly on any setting. So here it sits on my desk as a paper weight! I purchased an HP Office jet pro 8600 plus, excellent printer, absolutely no problems, love it! I owned an Epson stylus 860; it was the best printer I ever used, until it broke after 8 years. So in conclusion, Epson printers are not what they used to be, poor quality, and just out for profits, and living off their past reputation! DON’T ever buy any Epson product!!!!!!!

*** epson ..doesnt print black only when one of the other color cartridge is empty

it's so annoying...I just bought a black cartridge but the printer not allowing me to print even black only as one of the other three cartridges is empty. I have on nx430 stylus. Had I known this issue before, I would have never bought this printer. Epson should familiarize buyers beforehand of this shortcoming before selling their printers. I feel like I have just wasted $23 for buying the black cartridge and not to mention the cost of this dumb Epson Printer itself. No more buying of any products from Epson. I don't trust this company any longer.

Epson - Ink cartridges cannot be recognised

Just bought a new set of ink cartridges because the last set 'were unable to be recognised'. Replaced the old with the new (even though the old hadn't been used before either) and the same messaged is displayed when trying to print a page. Thats $ 120 or so on ink cartridges without a page being printed. I purchased the Epson printer 1 year ago when i needed a printer every morning everyday for a month and now the that time has come again. Last time i was able to have a friend print off my papers for me to troubleshoot. It would be nice to have a printer that does its job as a toaster toasts bread.

Epson - Defective machines

Epson XP 810 is a disaster. I have had 2 replacement machines after the first worked for only 4 months. The second replacement could never be connected to a computer the third has failed after 2 days after being connected and unlike the first is using or showing ink being used at an impossible pace - 10 pages for a black cartridge and now half used color cartridges although there has been almost no color printing - only on margins of a small number of pages. Have also had false messages - e.g. that the paper size is incorrect in the midst of printing an article although the paper is the same as has been printed. The service people for the most part have been responsive although it takes a long time 1.5 and now 1 hour to resolve the problem as to why it is not printing though connected to a computer although the Epson tag says it is not connected.
