Purchased a $3,000 Epson Television (was supposed to be the latest and greatest thing from them). After 1 year, it started to develop yellow shadows on the screen. Something "burned out" in it. They came and repaired it for free. 4 years later, the EXACT same thing happened. This time, the warranty has expired and they will not repair for free...even though this is a recurring problem. Should be a recall.
This time, Epson tells me it will cost a minimum of $500 to repair. With the price of new TV coming down every year, how do they expect anyone to pay a repair bill that expensive.
I will NEVER buy any EPSON product ever again. I encourage you to do the same because they do not stand behind their products.
