Epson in Rochester, Michigan - All-in-one machine - ink cartridge issue 13 months - hardley used

Dear customer service. I contacted technical support for an issue I had with my all in one printer only to find out since it is not under warranty I need to take it to an authorized dealer to fix the hardware problem. I called the authorized dealer in my area only to find out they have an 89$ minimum charge to even look at the printer. I purchased this printer in February of 2014 for 150$. By January 2015 I had gone through 2 ink cartridges, 20$ each - Epson ink from Office Max, one black one cyan which isn't very much because I don't print very much. I mostly use the scanner function. In January, it showed that three ink levels were low black, yellow and red so I bought the full pack from Costco (Epson ink!!!!!) for $60. When I replaced the three cartridges I received an error on the full Cyan Cartridge to replace it because it was faulty. (hardly used) So I put the brand new one I just bought in to see if that would fix the problem. Obviously it did not. Oh, and the ink problem rendered the scanner useless. At this point, I am into this printer for $250, a machine I have hardly used. Now you are telling me I have to spend another $89 to get it fixed when I can go buy a new one with full ink cartridges for $120!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say, your customer service stinks and I think your product is a scam! I will never buy Epson again and will let everyone I can know not to buy Epson either. I am now on my second printer in 25 days. Today I will be bring this back to best buy and buying anything but. I know products have problem however customer service sucks. Fist you get some lower level person, then they send you to a second person. Keep in mind that you have already been in their q for five minutes. They need to get out of the printer biz. I am sure they are going to come back with some *** about how isolated this is, however looking at this site it seems like I am not alone

Finding big issues in repairing a EPSON premium home projection system in Kolkata India ..model EH DM 30 HD.4 months the guys have kept my projector in the name of repair and they could find a clue as what to do ..

now They say Epson dont have spares to repair the 3 yr old projector.

I wish to sue the company if they cant help me out.

I'm sorry you've had such bad luck with Epson. My first Epson lasted 8 years and never had an issue.

After trying several others and returning them, I purchased another Epson before Christmas last year, and it works like a dream, and when the time comes again, I'll probably purchase another.

It very well could be a batch issue, but whatever the problem, I hope you've found one by now that works well for you.

I will never again buy an epson product. As my printer is dead to me, so also is epson. They have made an enemy for life. epson 800 give an end of life pad warning before it shut down my printer. I will be shorting their stock in the morning. You want to play. Here I come. I see that epson wants to be my beach, so shall it be. When your stock rolls over, you will know why and you will know who. In having a printer for less that 2 years and have it lock up because of corporate greed and then hold you hostage. I believe you know where you can place your ink pads now. Have a nice day.

Same thing is happening to me this very instant, Ive just finished installing it. The people at Staples say you can return it before 15 days, the problem is !I DON'T HAVE *** TIME! This was a total waste of valuable time!

If Epson paid for the return shipping, I would consider that GOOD and DECENT customer service. To deny a customer return shipping charges because its 37 days instead of 30 is a case of Customer Neglect and lack of care.

Epson - XP 410 will not print from internet or files

Just like a smart phone, this printer will do everything but make a phone call or print in this case. It may not even do all the other things on it's menu, but I will never find out. I want to print a page from the internet or a file and it will not do it. This is what I bought it for --- to be a PRINTER. All it wants to do is be my friend and let me know it is wi fi ready, although not really! What a waste of money. Although it is now in about 5oo pieces and I am feeling somewhat better about the tech *** being sold on the market lately, I will never buy another Epson product --- EVER.

Epson XP-810 uses ink like crazy.

First of all, if I had known that Epson is owned by Seiko, I would never have bought this printer. Secondly, although the black ink was used up pretty fast from the beginning, since the latest firmware "upgrade", black ink cartridges are now completely used up in ONE DAY of normal printing. Although I have not made a totally accurate count, it appears that the LARGE black ink cartridge is good for, maybe, 100 pages. At $12.99 each from Office Depot, that works out to just short of $0.13/page for ink alone. Epson/Seiko are a bunch of thieves, and I will NEVER, EVER buy another Epson/Seiko product again. I intend to also submit a formal complaint to Office Depot about this issue. Although I am a regular customer at Office Depot, and have been for a number of years, I am seriously considering switching my allegiance to a different office supply company. Epson/Seiko can go to ***.
