They are forcing you to us Epson cartridges

have called 4 times to no avail. customer service just wants a picture. sent that 3 times. I have asked if they want me to use Epson cartridges get their price in line with other companies so we want have to look elsewhere.

Code waste cartridges

don't ever by Epson because they charge you for resetting (you need to buy a code) after they force you to buy a new waste pad. Also, they do not let you use non-Epson ink cartridges. DON'T BUY EPSON

Disappointed in Epson

This is not the first Epson printer I have owned but it is by far the worst. The printer in question is the XP-4100. This printer rarely does what you need it to do in a timely manner. It either prints blank pages or unreadable pages if it prints at all. I have had issues getting it to go "online" in order to print. I have had issues with the print job not arriving at the printer until hours later. I have purchased epson ink only to be told that it is not genuine epson ink and the cartridges are worthless. I have used Epson support with mixed results. No one has solved my problem and the responses come across as condescending in tone. I will be purchasing a new printer soon but will not be purchasing an Epson due to this frustrating ordeal. #getbetterepson User's recommendation: Purchase from another company

If you don't use the printer regularly you are totally screwed ...It errors you to replace cartages that you already replaced a month earlier and used only 1 time!!! ...Basically, if you use an Epson once a month you'll need to replace and dump $60 bucks on new ink for 2 pages. Try and troubleshoot?.....you'll need to again need to dump $60 dollars for new ink that you replaced a month earlier, but never used to even troubleshoot the blurry and streaked pages. This company has designed it that you will need to constantly buy their ink cartridges whether you are using the printer or not. Epson is a complete and total fraud company with poor products....stay away from Epson.

Scanner error 100016. unable to resolve.

Scanner error 100016 on printer window can not be closed, scanner will not scan. Printer from wireless connection to PC is OK. Unable to copy or scan. Tried all the suggested procedures. No fix. I will trash the WF4740 along with about $100 in ink cartridges. No more Epson for me. Looking for recommendations for new All in One unit.

User's recommendation: Do not count on Epson for tech support.....you are on your own. Good luck.

Annoying commercials

Please tell the need to have Shaq trying to sell epson printers an inks, its a shame we must see him on Liberty insurance, he is a person that makes millions, and he now needs to sell insurance and printer inks, try show your product whit out some one that has the personality of a wet mop and has millions that know about printer inks.
